Barry Oxford was the top tagger in 2011-12 having tagged 1,097 fish for the year. Mick Dohnt remains the top tagger overall having tagged an amazing 23,870 fish. The Top 20 for 2012 were: FISHER NO. Suntag data and Google Earth
A recent innovation has been the linking of the Suntag database to Google Earth which will allow a whole new range of ways to display Suntag data to be developed. Suntag improves service to taggers
With the upgrade of the Infofish database and establishing the Suntag website there are some new services that will be appealing to taggers. Images (photos and video) of tagged or recaptured fish can now be stored in the Infofish 2012 database. Feedback on recaptured fish is available direct through the website and now taggers can look up their own tagging
Suntag passes another milestone
Suntag recently reached another milestone when it passes 650,000 tagged fish in the database. As well it passed the milestone of over 50,000 recaptures.
